Confessions of a Shopaholic is an interesting comedy, but it also reveals something improtant of our life.

In the story, Rebecca Bloomwood is a absolute shopaholic. She can't refuse to buy fashion clothes, boots, and handbags by her credit cards, which is the reason why she is always in terrible debt.Rebecca, by chance, becomes a journalist of a money magazine named successful saving, though she wants to be a writer in a famous fashion magazine. But working for her boss Luke, gradually,Rebecca finds the true meaning of her life. Luke says "I don't want to be defined by clothes or lables or family."Just as what he said, a person can't be defined by what he wears, or the  outstanding parents he has, or how rich he is;a person should show his intelligency, his ability, and his spirit to others.Fashion clothes will become old-fashioned;appearence will fade; only what you have inside yourself won't change as time passes. When I saw the film, when I burst into laught at the amusing plot,I came to know something like what I just said.

I like the character of the hero in this film very much.He spent $23 on his hotdog, because he thought "Cost and worth are very different things."He didn't want to depend on his controlling family, beacause he believed in his own ability of starting a business.I think that kind of confidence, persistence, and value, is just what I am lacking in myself.

And,as the girl in the green scarf wrote in her column,"You should look more closely to what you'er getting into." I think so.
